Leslie Cameron has been an advocate for women and girls’ sex-based rights for many years. As a dedicated volunteer and policy advocate , she is part of the backbone of the Canadian Gender Critical Movement.  Shortly after becoming aware of the erosion of female rights due to Bill C-16, Leslie became the Alberta Coordinator for Women’s Declaration International (WDI) for four years and remains a member at large. 

The declaration reaffirms women and girls’ sex-based rights, and akin to For Women & Girls Alberta, challenges the discrimination women experience from the replacement of the category of sex with that of ‘gender identity.’  Women and Girls Alberta welcomes Leslie and is proud to have her as a founding member.
