Kellie-Jay Keen is a British women's rights campaigner and founder of the Let Women Speak movement, which has brought thousands of women to public squares across the world to defend sex-based rights. She is also known for popularizing the phrase "woman: adult human female."
Let Women Speak
Let Women Speak is a global rally movement that gives a public microphone to ordinary women to speak openly and without censorship about sex-based rights. What began as a single event in a public square has grown into an international campaign with rallies across the UK, United States, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and beyond. The movement is rooted in the principle that women — adult human females — deserve spaces, protections, and laws that reflect biological reality.
Party of Women
Founded by Keen in 2023 and formally registered with the UK Electoral Commission in February 2024, the Party of Women is a single-issue political party built around the defense of women's sex-based rights. Its founding ambition was to field women candidates in as many UK constituencies and council seats as possible, with Keen stating publicly that she envisioned it expanding internationally.
Keen herself stood as a candidate in the Bristol Central constituency in the 2024 UK general election, and the party's core policy platform includes repealing legislation that allows gender self-identification and restoring sex-based definitions in law and public policy.
The party represents a direct attempt to move the sex-based rights movement out of advocacy and into electoral politics — putting women candidates on ballots specifically to force mainstream parties to answer questions about women's rights that they had, in Keen's view, consistently refused to address.
Biography
Kellie-Jay Keen is a British women's rights campaigner best known by her former pseudonym Posie Parker. She first came to public attention in 2018 after being questioned by UK police under caution for posting on social media about the transitioning of children, an experience that galvanized her into full-time advocacy.
That same year she funded a billboard in Liverpool bearing the dictionary definition of woman: "adult human female," a phrase she is widely credited with popularizing within the sex-based rights movement. She is the founder of Standing for Women, a global campaign group, and the creator of the Let Women Speak rally format, which has since been adopted by women's groups around the world.
Her events have drawn thousands of women to speak publicly about single-sex spaces, safeguarding, and the legal definition of woman — and have sparked significant international media coverage and political debate.
